Cash...

We enjoyed watching Cash play the last basketball game of the season. I think he likes soccer better but that didn't stop him from doing his best. Cash is fast and very good at defense. He really is a good sport and team player. I saw him touch a teammates shoulder, and say good job after he made a basket. This teammate has not always been nice to Cash. We are proud of him and love him so much!

Lost tooth...Lost drone...Lost airplane...

Colby lost a tooth, I mean really lost it... something about biting Cash's jacket at school!

Cash was getting really good at flying the drone, the wind carried it a little too high, and out of range.

Grandpa was flying his airplane and you guested it, he lost it too! It was fun while it lasted.

Cash, Colby, and Grey were driving the RC cars and Grahm was determined to run them over with the lawnmower. They all laughed and had a good time trying to out maneuver him!

I think this might have been Grahm's first ice cream sandwich. I was trying to get a picture and I asked him to take his fingers out of his mouth. He said, "I'm trying to get the chocolate off my fingers." He asked Grandpa if he could make the ice cream sandwich warm. What a boy!

Grandsons, they are just the best!

Lift one another's burdens...

Depression, anxiety and other emotional afflictions are real and can affect anyone and it is appropriate and important to seek help for such afflictions if they are ongoing.

Disciples of Christ have made covenants with the Lord to help lift one another’s burdens. Followers of Christ therefore have a responsibility to care for those around them and help lift their burdens, whatever they may be.

Listening with love and withholding judgement is a key aspect of increasing one’s compassion and learning to help others as Christ would do.

For Carl J...

I finished the third quilt that are all made from my brother Kenny's shirts. This one is for my nephew Carl. I know Carl, Jimmy, and Jake miss their dad and I miss my brother. I know my nephew's still struggle with losing both their dad and mom in the same year, just two months apart.

Carl's quilt

Thank you from Carl:
First of all, I can't call because I don't wanna cry on the phone like a baby. The quilt you make is amazing. I can't thank you enough. It speaks volumes, not just about my Dad but you also. I can't thank enough for saying a million different things without uttering a word. I miss my parents daily. Not sure how I have done it without them. It's a pain that won't go away. I struggle with it daily. I know it's all part of God's plan, but I am still upset with Him. Thank you for the gift. I hope someday I can do for you what you have done for me. I love and thank God for you. Love you very much.

I love my nephews, I wish I could see them more often.

Slimy fun...

Grey is so easy going and he rarely asks me for anything. He quietly asked me last week if we could make some slime. Thankfully I remembered and had the slime supplies for Grandma Day!

We had a good time and the slime bubbles were amazing. Colby blew the biggest bubble of the day!
