By the power of the Spirit...

By the power of the Spirit our eyes were opened and our understandings were enlightened, so as to see and understand the things of God—
Even those things which were from the beginning before the world was, which were ordained of the Father, through his Only Begotten Son, who was in the bosom of the Father, even from the beginning;
That he came into the world, even Jesus, to be crucified for the world, and to bear the sins of the world, and to sanctify the world, and to cleanse it from all unrighteousness;
That through him all might be saved whom the Father had put into his power and made by him;

Sunday with the family...

It's been so wonderful to have Chris here this week. We had planned to go up to the canyon today for dinner, but it was too crowded...Memorial Day weekend. We went to the park by Cash's school and had delicious tin foil dinners that Mark made, and some yummy appetizers, watermelon drink, and salad that Chris made. It was a beautiful day, and it was just the best to be together. We went back to our house for some of Grandpa's famous strawberry ice cream.

Chris got some coconuts so Cash, Colby and Grey could see how you crack them open. We had a sip of the water, and Cash ate some of the coconut.

This family of five will soon be six. Only nine more weeks until our fourth grandson will arrive! I really do love my family so much.

Another milestone for Cash...

Today was Cash's graduation from Kindergarten. I've heard people say it's too much, but I think it's sweet. It's a big deal and I am so proud of Cash. It tugged at my heart strings to see him sitting with his class. He looks so big, and he is so smart. Next Fall he will move on to first grade. He will go from play-based learning to more desk time.

I've know some people feel that we shouldn't make a fuss for everything children do. But I don't think children are being celebrated all day, every day. So today I celebrate my very first grandson's early milestone. He's a first grader now and I'm so proud of Cash.

I don't think there's such a thing as too much love. How we love our Cashee boy!

I miss my brother, he looks so much like Grandpa Federer.

Humilty...

True humility is not thinking less of yourself;
 it is thinking of yourself less.

Mother's Day Weekend...

What a nice weekend. Tim took me shopping and to dinner yesterday.

He also got up bright and early, and washed the windows. I love clean windows, and it was much appreciated!

After church we got together with Mark and family. Mark and Tiff made a very delicious chopped salad!

Tiffani is such a wonderful mother. Cash, Colby, and Grey love her so much. And how cute is Grey!

Cash and Colby made me a necklace and bracelet. Cash also made made a cute basket for my gifts. I love adding to my Pioneer Women collection.

The tablecloth, towels, and hot pads are so pretty. Thanks Mark, Tiff, and the grands!

Chris called me from Seattle, and sent a box of fun gifts.

Thanks everyone for a lovely day!
