Last game of the season...

Tuesday nights have been a lot more fun, because we got to watch Colby play soccer. I will miss watching him play.

There was a moment when Colby was on the field, and he looked over and saw Tiffani. She gave him a thumbs up and a smile. He smiled back and gave her a thumbs up. When Colby smiles and I see his dimple, it just melts my heart.

Tiff was hugging Grey and she would say, "My baby" and then he would repeat it. It was very sweet. (P.S. Isn't Tiff's new haircut so cute?!)

Could he be more handsome?!

 Brothers...

love them a lot!

Mary Kay...

Last week when my brother Kenny was so sick, his first wife Mark Kay shared a thoughtful, sincere post on Facebook. She has always been a strong and forgiving woman. She's someone I have always admired. To me she's the the difference between between ordinary and extraordinary. She's loyal and so kind. You definitely want her on your team. She has been a single parent and has worked two jobs for many years. She loves unconditionally. She is all about family. She's very proud of her daughter and sons, and taught them right from wrong. She volunteers in her community almost on a daily basis. She has honored her parents. She's a very devoted mother and grandmother. Even though she and Kenny have been divorced for many years, she has never treated him unkindly. I cried when I read this post, we are blessed to have her in our family. She will always be my sister-in-law and friend. I love you Mary Kay.
"First you were my friend. Then you were my husband. Then you gave me an extended family. Then you became the father of my boys. Then you were my ex-husband.
Now you are my friend. Now you are the brother/uncle of my extended family. Now you are the father of my boys. Now and always you are my friend.
Sorry that you aren’t feeling well. Sending up extra prayers for you, our boys, our family during this difficult time. Stay strong my friend and get better soon."

Keep Knocking...

“God rewards those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6), but that reward is not usually behind the first door. We need to keep knocking. Sisters, don’t give up. Seek God with all your heart. Exercise faith. Walk in righteousness.”

~ Dieter F. Uchtdorf (October 2016 General Women’s Session)
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” ~ Hebrew 11:6

Fall begins...

At exactly 10:21 a.m. Thursday morning, September 22 Fall officially arrived, the Autumnal Equinox, and I couldn't be happier about it! I love the cooler weather, and seeing the leaves changing color.

I enjoyed putting out the Fall decorations today. I gave away a lot of my things, but what I have is enough. I really love autumn colors. I'm looking forward to our annual Boo Bash, and the Thanksgiving season.

We don't have to rake leaves this year, but I will miss seeing the Grands jumping in a freshly raked pile.

Here's to jacket weather!

Colby's day...

Colby's dinosaur themed party was so fun.

Colby loves his spy glass!

He helped Mommy make a dinosaur cake.

Mommy even found some real dinosaur eggs.

The cutest 4 year old dinosaur in the world.

Happy Birthday Colby, we love you!

Garage by Tim...

Tim can pretty much do it all. He made cabinets for the garage and painted the floor. We have a very nice clean garage now!

Now if he could just fix plastic.
