Bride To Be

My niece Cheyenne will be married in a few weeks, so it was time to shower her with gifts and best wishes!

I chose a pearl and lace theme for her bridal shower. I had fun making flowers out of paper doilies.

I made orange rolls... it was almost 100 degrees the day I made them and so they raised very fast!

It was wonderful to gather with family and friends and celebrate. We are all so happy that Cheyenne and J.d. found each other!

I enjoyed making this afghan for Cheyenne and J.d.

I saw this cute idea for a Marriage Survival Tool Kit. On the back of each tag are some wonderful marriage quotes.

Cheyenne got so many nice gifts!

Pam ~ Cheyenne ~ Me

A heartfelt thanks to my sister-in-law's Pam and Holley for all their help. We make a good team!

Tim helped me make an "Advice Book" out of wood for Cheyenne.

All the party goers shared some wisdom on marriage, and I added a of few of my favorite quotes to the book.

Cheyenne, I think it's wonderful that you will be married to the right person in the right place! Hold each other close in best or bad times and have trust and faith all the way.

Happy married life, love you lots!

Quote of the Week ~ Confidence...

“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.”

Summer...

 Feeding the ducks

Water balloons!!

Grandpa and I enjoyed sitting by the pool watching Mark, Tiff, Cash and Colby swim!

Mark's gold medal dive!

Colby's first time swimming, he loved the water!

Colby liked balancing on Daddy's hands!

Daddy getting a workout and Cash loving it!

Cash deciding if he wants to jump off the diving board...

Daddy says, "You can do it, I will catch you."

He did it, Cash is so brave. On the way home he said, "That was fun!"

Summer is a lot more fun with Cash and Colby!

Thanks for sharing Susan!
