Sunrise walk...

I woke up this morning thinking I wanted a more challenging walk so I headed to the mountain near Mark and Tiff's home. I've walked it before and it definetly gets your heart rate up. The views are incredible and never tire of seeing the majestic mountains. I'm grateful to the Creator for this beautiful earth. I had a spiritual experience and it filled me with gratitude the rest of the day.

But to be honest the best part of the experience was running into Mark, Grey, and Jack as I was finishing the walk. They had just started a walk so I got to go with them. Grey held my hand and it was wonderful. I found a stuff toy on the road that I gave to Jack. He likes to fetch things, imagine that! We saw a neighbor who was also walking his dog and they played tug of war with the toy. It was so cute. Jack seemed sad when the other dog won the tug of war. But he eventually got the toy back. Jack is beautiful dog and very obedient. Mark tells him to sit and stay before he takes his leash off. Then he says, be free and Jack runs around the park.

I've never completed this many steps in just one walk but I did today, very good day!

Stomp on over...

 STOMP

ON OVER TO GRANDMA’S

FOR A ROARING GOOD TIME!

Grandma’s Summer Camp and Sleepover

Friday, July 29, 2022

It was a dinosaur theme this year for Grandma's Summer Camp and Sleepover. I always take invitations to the boys. This was Grahm's response when he saw them. I loved that he's excited to come to the camp! "The best day of my life!"

It was a beautiful morning for summer camp!

I almost didn't decorate the door this year but I think the boys like it. They get excited for the activities.

This year I just had Grey and Grahm. I think Cash and Colby might be getting too grown up for summer camp and they were off on an adventure in Idaho with Nana. But I really did miss them. I will find something they would like to do when they get home.

Cute dinosaurs ready to party!

Sorting a few dinosaurs.

The boys enjoyed a dinosaur dig with some clay that we made.

Grey and Grahm worked together and decorated this really awesome dinosaur cake. It was so fun to watch their creativity!

Fizzy Dino eggs

Grey and Grahm always look forward to the treasure hunt. Grandpa comes up with the best clues.

The neighborhood dinosaur left a lot of eggs! Hatching ice eggs is serious business for our paleontologists.

The dinosaur piñatas met their match!

Did Grahm swallow a dinosaur egg?

Time to wake up the dinosaur!

Grandpa was going to read a story to Grey and Grahm but he let Grey instead. Grey is a good reader. This was a sweet moment to see them snuggled up and cozy downstairs. It's a cute book, "How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You?"

Of course we had popcorn and watched a movie. Grahm always wants to have a lantern by him, and he and Grey played with them making shadows on the ceiling. They were having so much and laughing, I said just five more minutes a few times. Finally I had to say it was really bedtime, they fell right to sleep. In the morning we had a yummy breakfast and a few more activities.

Grandpa hide a bunch of dinosaur eggs and the boys always enjoy searching. There were a few prizes after the hunt.

Love this picture, beautiful boy!

Grey found another way to hatch the ice eggs!

How blessed we are, we love spending time with our grandson's. We truly hope they always remember the memories we have created together. We love Grey and Grahm with all our hearts.

I posted a few highlights from camp and I was touched by these comments.
