Chris lives nearby and he walks there almost everyday. I've walked with him many times there also. It's a magical, peaceful place, and the perfect setting for a celebration. It's was Colby's actual birthday so that was special too.
We loved having some of Christopher's friends join us and best of all Uncle Lee came. He adds joy and love to any gathering.
We had lots of yummy food and Chris whipped up some gourmet tacos. Stu brought a charcuterie board that was so savory. Colby requested sugar cookies so I was happy to make them for him.
Uncle Lee brought a box for Colby that was filled with all kinds of unique gifts. It was sweet to watch Colby take each one out. He will never forget Lee's thoughtfulness. He told Tiffani it was his best birthday ever.
Colby has blessed our lives for nine years. He's a wonderful big brother especially to Grahm. He's protective and when they wrestle, he's careful not to play to rough. Colby is quick to say he's sorry and quick to forgive. He has a tender heart. He's very loving and his hugs fill my grandma heart with so much joy. He's very teachable and tries to do his best. I really love Colby.

What a beautiful morning to watch Cash play soccer. We enjoy watching his games, he's fast, and has skills! He likes playing defence and looks so handsome in his uniform.
Colby asked me if he could sew something. He decided on a bear. He cut out the pattern, I gave him a few instructions, and off he went. He worked on it through the night and finished with a cute bear. I think everyone should make a bear once in their life! Colby is not afraid to try new things and for sure he will know how to sew a button on if needed. I'm proud of Colby.
