Snow Angel

 

When I picked up Cash today he started singing, "Over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house we go..." What a cool boy!

“When it snows, you have two choices: 

shovel or make snow angels”

 

January has been extremely cold, bordering on historic. It’s been years since Utah has seen some of these temperatures. It's also been years since we have had this much snow. We have had inversions and some days the worst air in the nation. We also had freezing rain, which rarely happens here.

I have wanted to play in the snow with Cash for weeks but it really was too cold. So today Cash and I bundled up and had some wintertime fun. He loved playing in the snow. He kept saying, I like the snow Grams!

For Jimmy

My nephew Jimmy is working in Utah for a few months, so it was such a treat to have him come for dinner on Sunday.

Jimmy birthday was Saturday, so we had a party for him too. I know he didn't like the attention but I hope he felt loved!

 Colby's first time in the highchair, 4 months old today!

 Cash helped us sing Happy Birthday to Jimmy...

and he helped him blow out the candles. I hope your wish comes true Jimmy!

 It was heartwarming to see Chris, Jimmy, and Mark together. Handsome cousins!

I am proud of my nephew. He's kind, honors his parents, and knows the value of hard work. We love you, hurry back!
