Catch of the day!

Grandpa and Cash went fishing at Tibble Fork Reservoir. It wasn't crowded! It was a cool misty morning. Cash caught two big beautiful fish. Grandpa loves one on one time with Cash. He says they have great conversations and that Cash is a wonderful young man. We love our grandsons!

That's a big fish, good job Cash!

Enduring life's uncertainties...

One of the most beautiful scriptures on waiting upon the Lord is found in Isaiah 40:28-31. I am grateful for these promises:

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Because the Lord “fainteth not, neither is weary,” He will be the source of our strength. Notice Isaiah did not say that you will find the Lord right away or that He will answer all of your questions right now. He did promise, however, that as you wait upon the Lord, you will have the capacity to endure life’s uncertainties.

What does it mean to wait upon the Lord? In the scriptures, the word wait means to hope, to anticipate, and to trust. To hope and trust in the Lord requires faith, patience, humility, meekness, long-suffering, keeping the commandments, and enduring to the end.

Birthday dinner for Grandpa...

I'm so thankful we could have dinner together and celebrate Grandpa's birthday.

Onions from our garden, Mark grilled them and they were delicious.

Colby offered a beautiful prayer, I'm so proud of him.

Someone had a taste of the frosting!

Tiff and the boys made Grandpa a delicious birthday cake.

Grahm helping Grandpa blow out the candles.

I asked Grahm to give Grandpa his present. He handed it to him and said, I got this for you. He's the sweetest!

The boys had fun flying Grandpa's airplanes!

Happy Birthday Tim, we love you.

FriYAY!

Colby went to Classic Skating with his friend Hadley and had his last baseball game of the season. We sure enjoyed watching him play. He's a real slugger and he told me he had fun.

Cash and Grandpa went fishing with their shiny new poles. It was a little hot, and even though they didn't catch any fish, they still had fun. I'm sure they will be trying again soon. Grey and Grahm hung out with Grandma.

Grey and Grahm like finding things in the garden. Grahm was so excited to see green cherry tomatoes.

Zucchini ~ Romaine ~ Spaghetti Squash ~ Pumpkins

Grey and Grahm found about ten strawberries. Grahm cried because he wanted more.

Poufin around!

We made play dough with oatmeal, it was a little strange. But Grey and Grahm enjoyed playing with it for quite awhile.

Wrestle Mania! Grahm is a beast.

Marshmallow shooters!

FriYAY's are the best!
