"Go ask your Dad"

I was talking with Grahm while he was is the tub, I can't remember what I asked him, but he said and I quote, "I do not know, go ask your Dad." He makes me smile, what a darling boy!

Friday's are the best day of the week!

Grey Guy Diamond!

Grandpa wanted to have a day with just Grey. He said he doesn't get to play with him as much as he would like to. We played games, laughed, and had a wonderful afternoon. Grey is a very gentle boy, smart and sweet too.
We love him so much.

Prepare a way forward...

“No matter the obstacles we face in life, we can trust that Jesus Christ will prepare a way forward as we walk with faith.”

A break now and then...

I don't think I use the word hate very often but I HATE it when our grandson's get sick. It's just the worst. Grahm got very ill with a fever and was coughing all last week. When Friday came, I had a feeling Mark and Tiff needed a break, so I asked if the big boys could sleep over. We enjoyed playing games, and having popcorn while watching a movie. We even had Alexa tell us a bedtime story!

It seemed like as soon as I tucked the boys in, Cash became very congested. Poor guy was just miserable. He didn't sleep much, I tried propping his head up with a few pillows and that helped some. I didn't hear a peep from Colby and Grey and I was grateful they slept good.

Mark and Tiff had a better night with Grahm and I am so thankful he's on the mend. When we saw him on Saturday he was happy and didn't seem sick at all. I have prayed so much that he would feel better. I know Mark and Tiff appreciated a break and some extra sleep. And of course I love having Cash, Colby, and Grey sleepover. Enough of this darn sickness...

The good news...

“The good news of the gospel is not the promise of a life free of sorrow and tribulation but a life full of purpose and meaning — a life where our sorrows and afflictions can be ‘swallowed up in the joy of Christ.’”

“Trusting in the Lord includes trusting in His timing and requires patience and endurance that outlasts the storms of life.”

Junior Jazz...

Saturday was fun because we got to watch Cash and Colby play basketball. They played at Mountain Ridge Junior High school, Mark's Alma Mater!

I had a flood of memories as walked into the school. I served on the PTA and helped with the Grand Concert. Chris and Mark's class pictures were hanging in the common area. Grey, Grahm, and I tried to find them but couldn't. Grahm would look and the pictures and say, "I don't like her." HaHa! Mark came out and showed us right where he was!

I loved this reminder!

As always we were very proud of Cash and Colby and can't wait until the next game!

ThrowBack Thursday ~ Reindeer puppets...

I love this picture of Cash. He liked the reindeer puppets and would stick out his tongue like the reindeer. I also love seeing his hair with all the curls. Oh Cashee boy!

The Lord of lost things...

“Jesus Christ Himself is the Lord of lost things. He cares for lost things. … In the end, nothing is truly lost to Him.”

Jesus Christ Himself is the Lord of lost things. He cares for lost things. That is surely why He taught the three parables that we find in the 15th chapter of Luke: the parable of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and, finally, the prodigal son. All these stories have a common denominator: It doesn’t matter why they were lost. It doesn’t matter even if they were aware they were lost. There reigns supreme a feeling of joy that exclaims, “Rejoice with me; for I have found [that] which was lost.” In the end, nothing is truly lost to Him.
