Might be a blessing...

Did we just go back to the 90's?
$25 to fill my car up
Kids playing outside again
Families eating at home
Only going to town when you actually needed to
People praying to God again
This might not be that bad
It might just be a blessing!

I miss church...

Tim and were talking about how much we miss church. It's good to read, and study at home, but I miss walking into the foyer, and hearing the organ playing. I miss shaking hands, and stopping at a pew to say a kind word to a friend. I miss the gathering together.

The parking lots are all empty today. The seats inside the chapels are all empty. I know we will hear the organ play again and every seat will be filled. I hope it's soon. Seven Sundays - COVID-19...

Just Grahm...

We sure are missing Tiff and the big boys but Grandpa and I have enjoyed some extra time with Grahm... and Mark!

Grahm thought the whistle was so funny!

Grahm is getting so big.

Grahm got to feed Cookie!

What?

Grahm must have rolled down the hill 20 times. He kept saying, "Just one more time."

"Come on Grandpa!"

"Grandpa gave me this sucker."

Beautiful day for a walk and to hunt for golf balls.

Don't grow up too fast Grahm, we love you!

Handsome Cash and backyard fun...

I really love this clever, kind, smart, helpful, almost 10 year year old boy! He has the nicest hair of anyone I know, it's thick and wavy! I love his fresh haircut because you can see his handsome face better. Tiff did a good job, she amazing!

Grahm likes to mixer-mixer cookies and brownies!

Difficult days...

"Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh.
There was a pause.
"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.
"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."
"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.
"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.
"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.
"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."
And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right."

Move forward in small steps...

My grandma once told me:
In hard times, you move forward in small steps.
Do what you have to do, but little by little.
Don't think about the future or what can happen tomorrow.
Wash the dishes.
Remove the dust.
Write a letter.
Make some soup.
"Do you see?"
You are moving forward step by step.
Take a step and stop.
Get some rest.
Praise yourself.
Take another step.
Then another one.
You won't notice, but your steps will grow more and more.
And the time will come when you will be able to think of the future without worrying so much.

Butter and Biscuits!

We made homemade butter yesterday and spread it on warm biscuits. The butter was a big hit. It was fun watching Cash and Colby shake the jar of cream. Grey got worn out after a few minutes so Grandpa finished up for him.

Grahm wanted to check on Guangdong!
