Homecoming to Taiwan...

Taiwan will always hold a special place in Christopher's heart. He had a chance to return for a business meeting this past week.

It's been almost 23 years since he served a mission in Taiwan. Chris was able to walk around Taipei after the meetings. He actually served in Taichung but didn't have enough time to go there. But exploring Taipei was a reminder of the culture, people, food, and treasured memories that influenced him so deeply. The experiences he had all those years ago will always be a part of him. Chris even got to speak some Mandarin!

The Taipei 101 Observatory is a world-renowned observation deck offering 360-degree panoramic views of Taipei from 382 meters (1,253 feet) above the city. Located on the 89th floor, it is accessed via high-speed elevators that make the trip in just 37 seconds.

Bao steamed pork buns are so delicious. We got to try them when we went to Taiwan to pick up Chris. Christopher's friend Vivian got some for us after we did a session at the Taipei Temple.

We will always be grateful we could travel to Taiwan to pick up Chris. We gained a glimpse into the life he had there while serving a mission. We saw the bustling streets, enjoyed delicious food, and experience the warmth of the Taiwanese people.
