We got to watch Mark coach Grey's last soccer game of the season. The Lightning Lime's came up with a win today! Mark is a great coach. Grey is fast and has a powerful kick! I will miss the Saturday games.
I made a cake for Grey's family party tomorrow. I think of my Mom every time I bake. She made so many beautiful cakes through the years. Grey has had a fun birthday week and we look forward to celebrating him again tomorrow!
Grey has been thinking about getting a new pet. He has done some research and settled on getting a gerbil, well actually two gerbils. He hasn't named them yet. He looks like one happy boy. Mark always wanted to get pets when he was Grey's age too!
This afternoon I saw my neighbor walking with his friend who has Down syndrome. It touches my heart every time I see Randy and Mike together. They have been buddies for a long time. They are both going to Heaven.
It's been a good day!
