Billie and I have been friends for a long time now. I am grateful to have her in my life. I was delighted I could treat her to birthday dinner on Thursday. She turned 81 on Friday. We both like shrimp and Diet Coke. Billie loves to shop but I don't, I go along because it's fun to be with her.
She is trying to navigate life without Rulon. Each week gets a little better and I admire her faith and courage. I hope the coming year brings her more peace and joy.
