All week the flag at our school has been flying at half staff. It is to honor of those who lost their lives in a mass shooting that took place in Las Vegas late Sunday night. At least 59 people were killed and 527 were injured after a man opened fire on a country music festival. It's being called the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history. I have felt sad, angry, and a little scared every time I think about what happened. I have prayed everyday for the families that have been affected by this horrific tragedy. I still believe there is so much good in the world, but I hate that things like happen. I pretty much hate guns.
