We had an amazing dinner at the Ruth's Chris Steak House which is next to the hotel. In 1965 Ruth Fertel, a single mother bought an existing Chris Steak House in New Orleans. They are now all other the world. The restaurant's signature is serving USDA prime steaks that are seared at 1800* degrees and serve on plates heated to 500* degrees. Then butter is added just before the plates leave the kitchen in or order to cause the meat to sizzle. It was the BEST steak we have ever tasted. Melt in your mouth good.
