Is anything too hard for the Lord?

When troubles come—and they will; when challenges mount—and they will; when evil abounds and we fear for our children's lives, we can think of the covenant and promise given to Abraham, and especially think of Sarah. And with the angels we can repeat the question, "Is anything too hard for the Lord?" (Genesis 18:14)

If you think circumstances in your life are not ideal, take heart. I'm beginning to wonder if circumstances ever are ideal.

You don't simply yield to circumstances; you shape and use them for your own best purposes.

People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are they who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can’t find them, make them. ~ George Bernard Shaw

Brothers...

I know I've said this before but I'm very grateful for Grandma Days. The boys usually come on Friday but this week it was on Thursday. I didn't have anything planned but it was such a fun afternoon with Cash, Colby, Grey, and Grahm. I was beyond thankful that Cash is feeling better. The rash he had is all but gone. My grandma heart can't bear it when they are sick.

We played games, had hot chocolate, and played downstairs. The boys haven't played with the hot wheel cars and tracks for a long time. I was thinking the other day that I would donate them. But to my surprise they got them all out and worked together to build a impressive run. They tested all the cars and laugh and had fun. Colby is consistently kind and sweet with Grey and Grahm. Grahm even played with the mixer-mix! Cash is always the first to help pick up the toys. I will remember these days always!

ThrowBack Thursday - "Why am I doing this?"

I will never forget when I was helping Grey get dressed for the Nativity Pageant a few years ago. He looked at me and said, "Why am I doing this?" But look how cute our Wiseman were. It's such a wonderful memory.

Grey wore the same robe this year although it was much shorter!

Three years...

Because of COVID and all, we haven't had a Williams Family Christmas party for three years. It wonderful to gather Sunday night and celebrate the season. Watching the cousins play and everyone catching up was heartwarming. Among my favorite moments was seeing Hayden, who was seriously injured walk into the room, hearing Julie sing, and the grandchildren presenting the Nativity. Almost 60 family members, what a memorable evening. Much thanks to Lee for organizing the festivities!

Our Cash was sick, we missed him so much.

We are all so grateful Hayden is recovering from a fall off a bridge.

Julie and her family are not at our party often since they live in Cheyenne.
I suggested she sing for us and we all enjoyed hearing her, she has the voice of an angel.

The two newest members of the family and our baby Jesus's for the Nativity!

Grahm loves his dino jammies and he may never take them off! And that dimple!

Julie and Tucker's youngest, Kendall Jo. The last time I saw her she was just a few months old.

The Queen's Storyteller, Lee has been entertaining and touching our hearts with original stories for many years. There's talk this will be his last time, we'll see!

The cousins presenting the Nativity is always the best part of the evening.
I enjoyed helping Colby, Grey, and Grahm get ready. Grahm chose all the things he's wearing! What handsome Wiseman and a Shepherd!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

All I want for Christmas...

Grey lost one of his front teeth today. There's a small chance he would lose the other front tooth and then Grey told me he could sing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth." Grey has a cute sense of humor! I love him so much.
