Christmas... island style!

Chris is enjoying the beautiful, sunny beaches of the Philippines this Christmas! It looks warm and wonderful. Merry Christmas Christopher, we miss you.

Just a little family, without toys or trees or tinsel...

With only Joseph’s inexperienced assistance, Mary herself brought forth her firstborn son, wrapped him in the little clothes she had knowingly brought on her journey, and perhaps laid him on a pillow of hay. Shepherds would soon arrive and later, wise men from the East. Later yet the memory of that night would bring Santa Claus and Frosty and Rudolph—and all would be welcome. But first and forever there was just a little family, without toys or trees or tinsel. With a baby—that’s how Christmas began.

Cutest reindeer ever...

Mark stopped by with Grey after church and it made our Christmas Eve to see this darling boy. Grey is the sweetest three old ever! He's definelty on the top of Santa's nice list.

Winter Break...

I'm so happy I have a few days off from school so I could spend the day with Cash, Colby, Grey, and a few hours with Grahm!

One of the teachers I am an aide for gave me a gingerbread house for Christmas. She said she thought my grandsons would enjoy making one. Hmmm, have I told her about my grandsons? ...only every chance I get!

It was fun helping the boys decorate a gingerbread house,
I haven't done that for years!

Grey is squawking like a chicken, and he has sequins on his ears. They were doing crafts earlier at their house. Tiff and Mark were taking the boys to see the movie Coco and Cash said, you have to take those earrings off before we leave.

I got to have a date with Grahm while they were at the movie! He was happy even though he wouldn't take his bottle this time. It was such a nice day, the first day of winter.

By the way it was very windy last night and we got a little snow.

ThrowBack Thursday ~ Christmas morning...

Grey's turn...

Monday is was Grey's turn to go on a Christmas date with Grandma. I gave him several options, he just wanted to get a game, and go back to Grandma's house. He really does like to play games and it's just pure joy to be with him!

(I didn't get a picture of the new game!)

'Twas the night before Christmas...

And laying his finger aside of (or up) his nose,

And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!

Grandpa loves to read books with Grey,
he makes them come to life!

I took Grey home with such a happy heart. The last three Monday's I spent with Cash, Colby, and Grey were so wonderful. I hope having a Christmas date with them will become a tradition. They are so loved, I'm so thankful they live nearby.

Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

December Weekend...

Weekends are wonderful with family...

Breakfast with the boys...

Cash thought his pancake looked like a monkey!

Cash made Grandpa a Christmas tree at school.
Grandpa was really happy!

Cash squeezed some juice and shared it with us, yummy.

Grahm sat in the high chair for the first time.
We love this sweet baby boy.

My best helper Colby helped me make cookies.

Eating strawberries while making the cookies!

My favorite decorations are the ones the Grands make!
Colby's green-nosed reindeer is so cute!

Life is good!
