As soon as we came home from church yesterday, Tim grabbed the snow shovel to clear the driveway. He was outside a long time and I started wondering what was taking so long. I went to check him and found him, (in his Sunday best) making a snow alligator for Cash.

Silly Gramps, but it was pretty amazing!

Cash wasn't sure about this big creature at first, but then he smiled and giggled. I know he loved it.

Tim is a sweet Grandpa and he sure loves Cash and Colby.

Lee joined us for a Valentines dinner, that's him hiding behind the plant! We love Uncle Lee.

Colby is getting so big, he likes to be where he can see everything that's going on!

Tiffani, Cash and Colby have had a bad cold. It really tugs at my heart when they are sick. That's a nice way of saying I HATE IT. I made them a big pot of chicken noodle soup last week. (I am thankful that my Mom and Grandma taught me to make homemade noodles.) They are all feeling a little better and that sure makes me happy.

Snow Angel

When I picked up Cash today he started singing, "Over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house we go..." What a cool boy!

“When it snows, you have two choices:

shovel or make snow angels”

January has been extremely cold, bordering on historic. It’s been years since Utah has seen some of these temperatures. It's also been years since we have had this much snow. We have had inversions and some days the worst air in the nation. We also had freezing rain, which rarely happens here.

I have wanted to play in the snow with Cash for weeks but it really was too cold. So today Cash and I bundled up and had some wintertime fun. He loved playing in the snow. He kept saying, I like the snow Grams!
