Funeral and first snow cone of the summer...

I went to a funeral on Friday. Our dear neighbor, Marjorie lost her son on June 1st to melanoma that had metastasized to his lungs. Cameron was only 47. His story is very similar to my Dad's. The funeral was incredible, a real celebration even though Cameron's left this life too soon. I was once again reminded that you don't know what tomorrow will bring and it's never too late to make a needed change. My heart was broken for Marjorie, she kept saying she didn't think she would outlive her son. The funeral was at a chapel across the street from the Draper Temple. I took the opportunity to walk around and then sit down on a nearby bench to pray, and meditate. It was a gorgeous day.

I was so happy to see Cash, Colby, Grey, and Grahm. I hugged them a lot and treated them to the first snow cone of the season. I cherish every minute with them. Oh, I hope they know how much I love them.

Grahm loves watermelon... bite, wipe, repeat!

Colby showed me how he makes colorful bands. He and his friends want start a business and sell them. Good luck Colbs! I gave him some thread that was my Mom's.

Silly Grahmy!

And yes, I'm missing Chris.

Might be worth a trip to the Philippines!
