Last Sunday, Tim ordained Cash to the office of deacon in the Aaronic priesthood... God’s power and authority that He gives to His children to act in His name. Cash will pass the sacrament and is “appointed to watch over the church” (Doctrine and Covenants 84:111). He is also to “warn, expound, exhort, and teach, and invite all to come unto Christ” (Doctrine and Covenants 20:59).
It was a very sweet experience and we are so happy for Cash. Tim gave him a wonderful blessing. He got emotional and said that Papa Brad was very proud of him and loves him so much. Heaven was near.
I can hardly believe that Cash is 11. He is kind and polite. He wants to do what's right and is a good example to his brothers. We love him dearly, our first grandson.
