Pajamas and Pancakes...

First thing was Grandma's bench picture. It was a standing one this time because the bench was covered with snow!

I told Cash, Colby, Grey, and Grahm we would not do another bench picture until June. We will see if I can wait that long!

This weekend was our first, and what I hope to be an annual event, Pajamas and Pancakes Christmas party.

There were a few crafts, games, a scavenger hunt, hugs, laughter, hot chocolate bombs, more hugs, popcorn and watching The Grinch all cozy in the basement. And of course pancakes for breakfast in the morning.

Reindeer Christmas ornaments, they turned out so cute. I would like an entire tree with them!

Jingle Bell game, guess how many bells from the least to the most are in the boxes. It was harder than it looks but still fun.

Then we made wreaths with the bells.

I love this picture of Colby just sitting by the gingerbread houses.
He's the sweetest boy.

Recently I heard Cash say he would like some homemade chicken noodle soup, so that's what I made for dinner. Cash helped me cut the noodles, I was happy he wanted to help do that.

After dinner we had a scavenger hunt for the big boys, and Grahm went on a hunt to find some Christmas trees that Cash hid downstairs. They got a few prizes and enjoyed trying to spin an old fashioned top.

Then it was time to decorate some gingerbread men.

Colby's gingerbread mummy!

Grandpa and Colby blew up the mattresses so we could have popcorn and watch a movie. The boys chose The Grinch. It's so colorful and a timeless story. I love seeing them all cozy in the beds. The boys slept good and that always makes me happy.

In the morning we had a yummy pancake breakfast and hot chocolate bombs. The boys thought they were pretty cool! As always the time goes by too fast. I think our first Pajamas and Pancakes party was a success. Until next year my darling boys.

Making memories is my favorite thing to do!

The weekend unfortunately ended on a sad note. Tiffani's beloved father Brad passed away from COVID. I still can't believe it. We are heartbroken for our sweet Tiffani and her family. I am sad that my grandson's have to experience such a deep loss at a young age. But I know that they have so many happy memories of their Pops that will comfort them in the coming days.

Go make some memories.

Families are forever.

Because of Him.
