I was subbing all week, and I noticed a lot the students in one of the classes were wearing Mikey bands. The student council are selling the bands and all the proceeds will go to the Corless family. The bands say #MightyMikey and #KickKidneyCancer
A recent scan on Mikey showed he had a mass on his lungs. We were all heartbroken. What we thought was devastating news turned out to be more hopeful for this sweet boy. The mass was not cancerous but a lesion from when Mikey had RSV. The biopsy he had showed that most of the cancerous cells are gone. The remaining cells are dormmate, so technically Mikey is in remission. There were some tears and so much gratitude for answers to prayers. So many people have been praying and we hope Mikey continues to stay cancer free. #MiraclesforMikey
