69 going on 70...

He's a master craftsman

He has the power of flight and creation...

(Text from Christopher)

Timothy Glenn is 69 and has entered his 70th year. Time flies when you are having fun!

Tim and I woke up Thursday morning feeling so grateful. Tim was emotional as he started listing all our blessings. The list is long but always at the top is our family.

All Tim ever wants for his birthday is to have his family near, that's means everything. We had planned to have a picnic in the canyon, but low and behold it rained off and on all day. I can't remember the last time we had measurable precipitation. So not wanting to wish the much needed rain away, we went to plan B and had the birthday bash at our Highland cottage.

Before the party I went to get Colby for a piano lesson. I showed up a little early so I took Colby, Grey, and Grahm to swim lessons. Cash was at summer art camp. Tiffani wasn't feeling good so I was happy to help out. We got to the pool and even though it wasn't raining, swim lessons had been cancelled. So we played at the playground nearby for a bit.

I've noticed Grey makes friends often when we are at a playground. He started talking to a boy named Paxton and before you know they were playing tag. Colby and Grahm joined in too, it was difficult to get a picture because they are fast!

We got some lunch at went to the Fish Park. Cash was riding by on his bike after art class (that was Mark's bike when he was young) and he joined us!

I took Cash and Colby with me and they helped get everything ready for Grandpa's party. They are really the best boys.

We had our picnic dinner, talked, laughed, and played outside. It was a very welcome cool evening, and smelled so clean and fresh outside. We missed our Tiffani and are thankful she's feeling better.

Grey and Grahm help make these fruit kabobs!

Tim enjoyed sitting around the table
and talking with his boys so much.

Grahm loves to pop bubbles, he would do this for hours if we let him.

Uncle Chris and Grahm are buddies. And if Grahm gets a drop of water on his shirt he wants a new one. All by himself he went inside, to the place where I keep extra clothes and got a shirt (pajama top). What a boy!

Da boys!

Grahm is always so helpful!

I think many of Grandpa's wishes have already come true!
