Colby is always willing to try new things. He played volleyball with Grandpa and did great.
We had a ladybug picnic Sunday. I read that ladybugs are a sign of good luck. The have been called "The Beetles of Our Lady" because in the Middle Ages the farmers believed they came in answer to a prayer to the Virgin Mary to save their crops from being destroyed by insects. That's how they got the name ladybug. Grahm smiled and giggled when he saw the ladybug balloons. He knew right away they were ladybugs, and said, "There's some ladybugs." I like ladybugs, and who couldn't use a little good luck along with an answer to a prayer.
