Colby found the perfect climbing tree!
I had fun playing Carrom with Colby when we got home. I remember my Dad would put the pieces on his nose, so Colby gave it a try!
Grahm and Grandpa enjoyed the last of our garden tomatoes!
Then it was time for Lee's 70th birthday party!
Holley and Terri organized a lovely party. So many family members gathered to celebrate Lee, 42 in all. He is a light in our family. He is so loving, generous, clever, kind, and caring. We all love him so much.
Terri used the book "The Giving Tree" as a theme for the party because Lee is such a giving person. I cut out some leaves and had everyone write one word to describe Lee. He really enjoyed reading each leaf. Cash wrote that Lee was cool and Colby wrote that he's loving.
Grahm loves Uncle Lee too. Lee was talking to us then left to go visit with someone else. Grahm looked at me and said, "He will be right back."
Lee showed us his baby book and read what Johnnie Belle and Glenn had shared about their first born son. There were pictures of Lee all over and birthday cards he had saved through the years.
Cash, Colby, and Grey made homemade cards for him. I brought paper, stickers, and markers so the other nieces and nephews could make him a card also.

Tim surprised Terri with a beautiful walnut bowl for her new home.
I think she likes it!
Fabulous Friday with our family!
