Tonight was a heartwarming scene at a park in Draper. Friends and family gathered to welcome Billie home from Seattle. She was there with her Mom Brooke receiving proton radiation therapy for over six weeks. It's still hard to believe that she had a brain tumor. She is still facing months of chemo treatments. It's almost more than my heart can bare. Brooke was talking to some friends when we arrived. She turned and when she saw me she said, there's my aunt and walked over to hug me. We cried and she said I was like her second mom. I love her and am so proud of her. I have so much hope that Billie can beat this and be cancer-free.
Grey was enjoying that donut!
I took a few pictures of Grandpa and the boys. It was a little chilly but we had fun celebrating Billie.
Keep praying for sweet brave Billie.
