Clean as whistle...

I will never forget today. When I saw my son Mark enter the baptismal font with his son Cash my heart was so full of gratitude. Cash's baptism day was wonderful, perfect, and lovely.

Grandpa snuck a few pictures...

I was honored and humbled when Tiffani asked me to speak on the gift of the Holy Ghost and to play the piano. I was grateful for the opportunity to prepare and focus on the important step that Cash was making. I really felt the Spirit strongly the days leading up to his baptism. I haven't played the piano for almost two years. The only thing I really miss from our home in Hidden Oaks is my piano. I went to the church to practice and I so enjoyed playing the Primary songs. I will always be grateful to Grandma Ames for giving me a piano when I was about ten years old.

I always tell the boys after they take a bath that they are clean as a whistle, and today Cash was washed clean as he followed the example of the Savior and was baptized. The good news of the gospel is that we can mess up and we can repent because of the Savior. I really want Cash to realize what the Atonement and Sacrament mean after we are baptized!

Tiffani made this sweet poster for Cash.

Perfect day! It was great. I’m so proud of Cash and the choices he’s making. He’s a really good boy. We love him so much!

Oh these brothers!

So blessed...
