Field trip...

I have been telling Cash, Colby, and Grey that our outings are field trips. Colby doesn't buy it, because he associates field trips with school. Nevertheless, our "field trips" this week have been delightful. So Wednesday we went back to the park in Alpine, and saw a few of the artists working on their chalk paintings for Chalk the Block. It was pretty amazing. We had planned on going back in the evening but it was rained out.

I have been wanting to take the boys to the Alpine Art Center. There are several antique pieces of farm equipment. Cash especially liked looking at them. He could read the plaques that told what they were. I was impressed! Most of the equipment was over a hundred years old. I enjoyed telling them how they worked. My Grandpa Federer actually had some very similar equipment.

Big wheel!

I loved watching the boys run around looking at all the awesome sculptures. Cash took most of these pictures!

I love this picture so much. Grey was a little unsure at first but that didn't last long.

Cash really liked these trees.

My favorite sculpture at the center, what a work of art!

And a few selfies of our awesome photographer!
