Dragons and some very handsome knights...

Thursday was the 2nd annual
Grandma's Summer Camp and Sleepover!

This year was a dragon theme per Cash's request. There were crafts, games, food, story time, and experiments. The boys were perfect knights, and they even slayed a dragon! Above all I hope what they remember is how much I love them, and how much I enjoy being with them. They are wonderful in every way.

Making dragon eggs

 Cash is so creative!

Colby was determined to cover the entire egg!

So proud of his egg!

Time out for some dragon juice and dragon claws.

Coloring a dragon picture and waiting for the dragon egg experiment to work.

So cute!

 Still waiting...

Getting closer, and yes the dragon egg finally got sucked in the bottle. A little underwhelming, but still fun.

Time for a treasure hunt... Grandpa hide dragon claws all over the basement. When you find all of them you might get a prize!

Grey was so excited to
find one of his dragon claws.

Squirt the dragon eggs off the target

Determined!

 Dinner time and homemade pizza
Really Grandma more pictures, sorry Cash.

Grey was so cute, he loved getting his hands in the dough. His pizza turned out really well, and it tasted great.

After baths it was time for our knights to slay a dragon!

This may have been my favorite part of the day. I made a "tent" and "campfire" in a room downstairs. Grandpa told the grands a cute story about a a boy named Sam and a dragon named Freness. He used his fire breath to keep Sam warm during the winter. You can see the boys holding some cute dragons that someone left in the room.

We watched a tiny show and then it was time to say goodnight. Bedtime came all too soon.

When I woke up, I looked over to see that Colby had been holding his dragon all night. So sweet.

 Breakfast with my favorite knights

I love being a grandma, and I'm so grateful I can spend time with Cash, Colby, and Grey.

Oh and I can't wait to meet our newest little knight in a few weeks!
