What if Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!

Tim and I were in charge in the Ward Christmas Breakfast. We had a wonderful committee. They all went above and beyond what was asked of them. We decided on having a Grinch theme. The Grinch showed up a little grumpy and mean, but by the end of the party his heart had definitely grown a few sizes!

Tim was a big help, he took care of arranging the catering for the food. We had breakfast burritos, yogurt, and cinnamon rolls.

The Grinch was awesome.

My neighbor Marjorie wrote a cute program and took care of all the decorations. She is a real dear. It's been fun getting to know her.

The Grinch's parents came to the party. I served in the Stake Relief Society Presidency with Jessie. It was a wonderful experience, and I learned so much from her. It was great to see her again.

One of the committee members took pictures of some of the children and families with the Grinch, and he emailed the pictures with this poem. Cute and clever...

Thank you for joining us today at our breakfast feast. Thank you for helping us enjoy the “roast beast.”

All of us in Whoville liked seeing you a lot and we feared that the Grinch, that the Grinch he would not.

But something happened this morning, all of us can say, that the Grinch his heart grew three sizes today.

The Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store.

What if Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!

The Grinch wanted you to have this special e-mail, because attached to this note is picture-proof of our tale.

Merry Christmas!

Whew, I'm happy the party was a success and that we had enough food! It was a fun morning with our wonderful ward family.
