Being grateful...

After the reunion I got thank you notes from Aunt Bernice and Aunt Kay. I enjoyed organizing the reunion and didn't expect all the kinds words of gratitude and phone calls I received. But it was nice. The notes meant so much to me. It was a reminder to me that we always need to be grateful and say thank you!

 From Aunt Bernice

Words cannot express how much I love and respect you and all you do. The reunion was perfect. I cannot imagine how much time you put into the decorations and the favors, the poem, the food. I loved all the different favors you gave away, that was such a fun time. I love you don't ever doubt that and I loved seeing all the young generation and they all embraced us. I love my Federer heritage and I was so proud of you. Bernice

From Aunt Kay

Eileen,
Wow! I can't believe what a magnificent job you did with the reunion- the poem, little awards with prizes, EVERYTHING!
I know that Theodore and Edna would be proud as a peacock to see the person you are. I think it is great how the "younger" generations are carrying on the Federer heritage. I like the motto "Federer Strong." I am sending on of your grandmother's handkerchiefs. I thought you would treasure it.
Love you always,
Aunt Kay

I will treasure Grandma's hankie. I love my Aunt's and was grateful to see them one more time. #federerstrong
