Food glorious food...

Well, Chris and I both enjoy a fine dining experience, so in between visits to the hospital we had some fantastic meals!

Chris did a little research and found a charming bistro. The food was so savory and delicious at the Morris House Bistro.

We ate at the patio, it was raining and cold... thanks goodness they had a heater.

Amazing mint, watermelon coulis...

Appetizers ~ 
crab cakes and shrimp, the sauce was so delicious dipped in the bread!

Desserts ~ blackberry puff pastry will knock your sock right off!

Interesting story... Earlier in the day Chris and I were walking around Little America and I saw the room where we had my ten year high school reunion. I told him about a classmate that I remembered seeing there named Ellen. Well two couples came in the bistro and sat across from us. One of the women looked so familiar and I finally figured out it was the girl from high school. I told Chris I know it's Ellen. I wanted to talk to her, but I was so shy in high school that I didn't think she would remember me. Shortly after she came over to our table and said, "Eileen" and I said, "Ellen." 

We hugged and she told Chris that I was always so sweet. I was actually happy she remembered me! What are the chances we would see her at the bistro!?!

 Fabulous breakfast at the Egg and I...

Avocado and spinach omelet...

Eggs Benedict with loaded potatoes...

We ate bacon wrapped shrimp, deep-fried mushrooms, and this is something wonderful that Chris had at a new restaurant called Steamboat's. 

I had coconut shrimp and it was mouth-watering good. No room for dessert!!

The biggest surprise is when we ate lunch with Uncle Ken at the Luxury Diner. It's basically what you would call a "hole in the wall" but the food was amazing!

Kenny had Eggs Benedict, he kept saying it was darn good!

 Chris had yummy steak and eggs..

Lloyd and I had a savory patty melt, I love a good patty melt.
