School Days ~ Winding down...

Things are winding down at school, final projects are due in a few days. The students are practically bouncing off the walls. The teachers are ready to be done. I don't blame them because they have worked so hard all year.

The 9th graders read Romeo and Juliet this term. James, who is obviously a gifted artist drew this more modern depiction of Juliet.

They are working on the final project, a body bio. The students had to choose a character and then add quotes from the book about that character. Another lovely Juliet...

You can see Mrs. Otto in the back taking a moment to read while the students were working on their projects. I was preparing my Mother's Day talk!

And then there was the day I got to substitute teach for guitar class. I still remember a few chords. The students were talented and I enjoyed hearing them play.
