Flowers...

I don't think I've ever received two bouquets of flowers in one day before. But this week I did and it sure made me feel loved!

This bouquet was delivered to the school. I got a call that they needed me at the front desk. The secretary gave me a box and when I opened it, I was so surprised to see they were from Mrs. Otto and Mrs. Larsen. I have really enjoyed being a teacher assistant for Mrs. Otto. Mrs. Larsen doesn't have a TA, so I told her early on that would help her too.

Eileen,
We just wanted to thank you for being our school mom! You have made this year a million times better for both of us and we are eternally grateful! Thank you for always going way beyond our expectations and for always taking card of us! We love you!

(Lots of exclamations points!!)

The accompanying note made me cry, it was such a genuine expression of gratitude. Mrs. Otto also said, "We pretty much owe you the world." I am sad Mrs. Otto won't be coming back next Fall, I will miss her. She's off to grad school to get her masters in creative writing.

I was sitting at my desk and looked up to see Mark standing there with another beautiful bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day. Of course that made me cry too. I got to show him around the school and introduce him to some of my co-workers. That was fun, thanks son!
