Lee's Baptism

Have you ever earnestly prayed for something? You have faith but the prayer seems to go unanswered. For years I have prayed that my brother-in-law Lee would have a desire to attend church again and enjoy the blessings of the Gospel. I know I wasn't the only praying for him. He's so loved and such an important part of our family.

For over a year he has been attending church and he made the decision to be re-baptized. The are no words to described the joy we felt as we attended his baptismal service today.

"The attributes by which we shall be judged one day are all spiritual. These include love, virtue, integrity, compassion, and service to others. Your spirit, coupled with and housed in your body, is able to develop and manifest these attributes in ways that are vital to your eternal progression. Spiritual progress is attained through the steps of faith, repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end, including the endowment and sealing ordinances of the holy temple."

—Elder Russell M. Nelson

No one prayed more for Lee than his own dear mother.
She is surrounded by all her living children.

Happy day, a day I will never forget!
