Happy 30th Birthday Christopher

It’s my son’s 30th birthday today and I dedicate this post to him.

My Dearest Son, 

Happy Birthday to you. Today you turn 30. Where did the time go, it seems like yesterday that I was holding you in my arms at the hospital in Cheyenne. You were born on a beautiful fall morning, my favorite time of year.

It's very exciting as a parent to watch your children grow into adults and watch their gifts come out through the years.

I’m so lucky and proud to be your Mom and realize that you have many wonderful qualities and are an amazing person.

Here are some of the qualities I admire in you Chris:

Courage I know some of your dreams and goals still haven't come to pass. But with courage you keep going and are always smiling and never bitter. 

Sense of Family You are an important part of our family. You are wonderful son, brother and uncle. You help keep our family close and always add to any gathering. Your smile and quick wit are part of your charm.

Handsome You have always been a handsome guy and the older you get the more handsome you get.

Non Judgmental It seems you have the same gift that my Dad had. He always gave others the benefit of the doubt, never judging unfairly. You have always accepted me that way I am and have encouraged me in all I do.

Creative You are extremely creative. When you have an idea you are not afraid to jump in and see what happens. 

Brilliant Like your Dad, you are very smart and that's a gift.

Friend You have lots of old friends and continue to make new ones. I know it takes a good friend to have friends so I know you are a good friend to many including me.

Sensitive It takes a confident man to be sensitive and this is a gift I have seen in you many times. Thoughtful and sensitive to other people.

Generous I think this is one of your best qualities. We have all been the the recipient of your generosity, not just tangible things but of your time as well. Well I could go on on on but more than anything I want you to know that I love you and I'm so proud you are my Son!

Birthday party in honor of Christopher! 

It was such a beautiful day that we ate outside. 

Cash sat right by Chris while he opened his gifts and he never let go of his balloon!

Happy boy

It's a tradition and Cash loves to see the balloons go up in the sky.

This was the sweetest moment of the night. Cash sang the entire birthday song for Uncle Chris. He did not miss one word!!

Then he helped him blow out the candle. I know Christopher's wish will come true this year!

We ended the night with gifts for Mark, Tiff and Cash to help them prepare for Colby's arrival in just a few days!
