Remembering 2012

Last year it was rainy and cold on Memorial Day. But this year it was a sunny, beautiful day! Tim, Chris and I met some of our family at the cemetery in Provo.

It's like a mini family reunion and as it goes lately we don't see each other that often. It's nice to visit and remember our loved ones who have passed away.

 Beautiful Bella!

Chris adores Bella and I can't wait until he has a daughter of his own!

Greta... she's a little ray of sunshine!

Look who's walking! Ezzie is so adorable.

This grave came with a strong warning, "Do not steal our Dad's flowers. We will hunt you down. U R being video taped." It's unfathomable that someone would steal flowers off graves... but there have been reports on the news that it happens.

These pink balloons caught my eye...

Lucy Mae was only 3 years old. Even though I don't know this family, I found myself grieving with them. I'm so thankful to know this life is not the end.

This is the first time in over 20 years that Johnnie Belle did not go to the cemetery. We missed having her with us. We went to visit her at the nursing home on our way home. Tim borrowed Christopher's i-Pad and recorded all of us at the cemetery. She loved it, she smiled and laughed. She said it was better then being there!

This sign is in the physical therapy room. Johnnie Belle is working hard but her progress is still slow.

We missed having Mark, Tiff and Cash with us but they had a fun weekend camping with Tiff's family. It was nice to end the day knowing that they arrived home safe and to get a big hug from Cash. (He got a few boo-boo's on the camping trip).
