Mormon Pioneer Trail Sesquicentennial Re-enactment
June 9, 1997
It was a long day. My sister Roseanne, my niece Holley and I walked 30 miles through some rough terrain near Guernsey, Wyoming. It was the most beautiful day. Of course the wind was blowing and I was grateful I had my bonnet! Imagining what the pioneers felt like was very easy that day. It was an unforgettable experience.
