Merry Christmas!

Wishing you and your family a
magical and merry Christmas!

With love,
Grandpa and Grandma Williams

Cash!
Sunday’s the day we look forward to all week
Spending time with our family is something we seek.
Dinner ‘round the table is great
We don’t even care of Mark and Tiff are late!
It was Valentine’s Day 2010 as we finished our meal
A beautiful box sat on the table… what was the deal?
As I opened the gift to look inside for a peek
An ultrasound picture inside made my knees weak.
With hugs and tears we celebrated the news
A grandbaby on the way is much better than a cruise!
We waited to hear if it’s pink or blue
Lots of sewing and crocheting, I can’t wait to do.
We will have a new grandson to hold and love
A precious gift from our Father above.
Tim built a cradle made of wood
Many babies have slept in it… when they could.
Now it’s all ready for our little one
Seeing him sleep in it will be so much fun!
We spent one day helping Mark and Tiff
The nursery was all ready in just a jiff.
Sewing bedding and hanging the curtains
We checked things off the list, that’s for certain.
Nine months seemed so long but the days went by fast
It was time to meet our grandson at last!
The doctor said there was no reason to wait
So he said September 14th would be the date.
Tiff packed her bag and early that morning they woke
They will have a son sometime soon, and that’s no joke!
But they waited all day in the hospital bed
Night came and “No baby,” they said!
A c-section was needed, what else could they do?
In a matter of minutes they heard their son coo!
Tiff just wanted to hold him, she didn’t want to wait
Mark went with Cash for tests, that was his fate.
He needed a little oxygen and an IV
But after an hour everything was normal you see!
Mommy had to be in recovery, it seemed too long
The little family was reunited with a love that’s strong.
Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins
All welcomed Cash to the world by the dozens!
That night we offered a prayer of thanks and joy
For the gift of a healthy, perfect baby boy!
