Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner 2009

So Sunday we had a Pre-Thanksgiving dinner.

I made these turkey cookies a few times when Chris and Mark were in grade school. They liked taking them to their classmates. Each one seems to take on a personality all their own!

I enjoyed setting a pretty table with the China Tim bought for me in England.

It is always fun to dine by candlelight!

We have so much to be thankful for.

I love my family.

We enjoyed prime rib, everyone said it was the best to date. We also had a yummy salad with a cranberry flavored dressing, cornbread, stuffed potatoes with bacon and some other tasty side dishes. Dessert was bread pudding with chocolate chips and a really yummy lemon sauce. The food was great but being together is always the best part of the evening!

May your stuffing be tasty

May your turkey be plump,

May your potatoes and gravy

Have never a lump.

May your yams be delicious

And your pies take the prize,

And may your Thanksgiving dinner

Stay off your thighs!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

With love,
