From my blog: The birthday date tradition continues and I am always so grateful to spend time with my grandsons. Cash and I went to Provo Beach and dinner at Malawi's Pizza again. He is growing up so fast. He really is so smart. He never demands anything and is polite and kind. He tries to do what's right and I adore this boy.

Go Wolves...

I could not stop smiling, it was Grahm's very first soccer game this afternoon. He has watched his big brothers play and it was finally his turn. He was so excited and played his heart out. The coach was amazing too. I can't wait for the next game.

Grandpa brought some tomatoes from the garden to give Grahm some extra energy! He ate them all.

Prayers are never ignored...

I recognize that, on occasion, some of our most fervent prayers may seem to go unanswered. We wonder, “Why?” I know that feeling! I know the fears and tears of such moments. But I also know that our prayers are never ignored. Our faith is never unappreciated. I know that an all-wise Heavenly Father’s perspective is much broader than is ours.

Meditation Walks ~ Flags ~ Delicious Food ~ Swiss Days ~ Feeling Better ~ Another Temple in Wyoming

Chris goes for a walk everyday and the sights are good for the soul. I'm always grateful when I have a chance to go with him.

Sunrise in Highland

Our neighbors are still flying a Trump flag!

It seems like flags are always at half staff these days.
It's a troubling time.

Chris often stops by on his way home from work and whips up one of his delicious meals for us.

We also play Yahtzee, it's my favorite game.

Somewhere under the whipped cream is some tapioca.

Grandpa snuck over to Mark and Tiff's
and got some of their delicious peaches.

For many years I went to Swiss Days in Midway with friends.
I haven't been for a long time. Tim, Lee, and I went Saturday.
It was a beautiful drive, and we had a nice time,
even though it was so crowded.

Mark, Tiff, Cash, Colby, Grey, and Grahm got COVID. I was so happy to see them for a minute yesterday. They are feeling so much better and I am very grateful.

ThrowBack Thursday - Time.. the best gift

August 2020

I have been thinking about how thankful I am we get to see our grandson’s at least once a week. Yesterday Colby brought a rough piece of wood with a design he had for a gun. He and Grandpa headed to the woodshop and got busy. Colby did most of the work and listened to Grandpa as he was teaching him skills and methods. Colby was so proud of his gun. He told me he still needs to sand it more and maybe paint it. We can give our grands many things but time is the best gift.
