Words to live by ~ Lesser of two evils...

If you vote for the lesser of two evils, you are still voting for evil... You should always vote for the best possible candidate, whether they have a chance of winning or not, and then, even if the worst possible candidate wins, the Lord will bless our country more because more people were willing to stand up for what is right.

I hope so...

Our Highland Cottage...

We have been in our new place for a month now. It's feel like home. It's the right size and location. We like seeing the the sunrises and sunsets. We have also enjoyed our new ward. I still have some decorating to do, and some furniture to paint or refinish. The upstairs is taking shape and is very comfortable. The basement will be finished in a few weeks. We will be able to put the things away that are in the garage. That will be nice, we don't like a messy garage!

The table is all set for Mother's Day dinner. It was a fun afternoon. Thank you Mark, Tiff and boys for the beautiful plant and the other goodies. I love you all so much!

Still feeling so grateful that our prayers were answered.

Go Scorch and Team Yellow!

It soccer season for Cash and Colby! Cashee's team name is Scorch, and were not sure what Colby's team name is. I call them Team Yellow because their jersey's are well, yellow! We love watching them play. It's all coming together for Cash. He is kicking the ball a lot more and has made several goals. He still gets little sad when he doesn't make a goal or if his team loses. The last game he played defense, and blocked a lot of shots! Colby is still at the "free for all" stage. He puts his arms out and flies around the field like a bird. He will occasionally give the ball and tap! He is a happy go lucky little boy. Grey is cheering on his brothers from the sidelines.

I mean seriously, how cute is this little boy!

Can't wait for the next game.

What are little boys made of?

Snips and snails
And puppy-dogs' tails
That's what little boys are made of...

The best thing...

Thursday Chris asked me to meet him at Thanksgiving Point for an early Mother's Day celebration. It was perfect weather for a stroll through the gardens. The Spring flowers were at their peak. The colors were so vivid, it was spectacular!

A very professional looking photo, if I do say so myself!
I love wisteria.

 Baby owls!

You are always so thoughtful and generous Christopher. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

The best thing that ever happened to me was becoming a mother. I’m a better person because of it.

Words to live by ~ Real intent...

(Wind River Range Wyoming)
One needs to “ask with a sincere heart [and] real intent, having faith in [Jesus] Christ.” “Real intent” means that one really intends to follow the divine direction given." —Russell M. Nelson
