Premier Sunday Dinner...

Well... we had our first Sunday dinner at our home. It was cozy and we fit around the new table quite well. We will have to get used to having less space, but in the end I don't think it matters all that much. I am happy just to continue our Sunday dinner tradition.

It was such a lovely day we went for a stroll and played at the park. I keep getting toys that frustrate Cash. I don't mean too, it looked liked a fun lawn dart game. It said for ages 5 to 100! Cash tries so hard to do his best.

We came in the house and had sherbet and read some books, one of my favorite things to do.

Words to live by ~ Become better...

"The message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is that we can and must expect to become better as long as we live."

Sometimes there are things in life
that aren't meant to stay.
Sometimes change may not be what we want.
Sometimes change is what we need.

The Grands first official visit...

Ready to go see Grams and Grandpa's new house!

We got our new furniture Thursday morning.

We went on adventure down the trail near our home. Cash, Colby and Grey liked seeing the tractors, chickens, horses, cows, and Lama's that our along the path.

After our walk we played and ate lunch at what we are calling the Little Toy.

 Sweet little Grey fell asleep.

What a gorgeous Spring day!

Grey thought it would be fun to push the chair down the sidewalk! Colby joined in.

Hurry back!

Morning Walk...

I have enjoyed my new walking path on the Highland Trails. It's been wonderful to have a few days off for Spring Break, and to have to the time to exercise in the morning.

 Popcorn popping...

Watching the sunrise over the mountains...

I love tractors, we had one similar to this only it was red.

Cows and maybe a hawk flying over the mountains!

 Mr. Lama

Mrs. Lama

Chicken Chucker!

 Chapels everywhere...

Majestic mountains...

I'm so happy I can walk outside again, I love Spring!

Words to live by ~ The Miracle...

We often talk about the wondrous miracles of Jesus Christ — walking on the water, healing the blind, raising the dead. I started out to write this song about those miracles. But as I began crafting the lyrics and the message, I realized — His greatest miracle by far is the one He did for us, for me. “The miracle that rescues me.” I wanted to make it clear how personal the Atonement is to me, how uniquely suited for my needs, my inadequacies, and my struggles, as it is for yours. My name was graven on His hands. And yours was, too.  ~ Shawna Edwards
Jesus is a God of miracles
Nothing is at all impossible to Him
But I know this:
of all His miracles the most incredible
must be the miracle that rescues me!

We got to hear Colby sing this beautiful song on Easter Sunday. Cash really wanted to sing too, but he had a sore throat. Cash sang part of the song for me earlier in the week, and it really touched my heart. I love to hear Cash and Colby sing. It's wonderful they can learn important gospel truths through music.

After the Primary children finished singing Colby said to me, Grandma I sang the whole thing.

No foolin'...

We will always remember April Fool's Day 2016 because we moved into our new home! The stars finally aligned and we feel so blessed that we sold our home and found one that is perfect for us. We have lived here for three days and we love it.

I like that the garage is in the back. You can see our cars are in the driveway because the garage is full of all our worldly possessions! We have worked very hard for weeks now, and slowly but surely we will get things organized. We will have to be patient until the basement is finished, then we will have more than enough storage.

There are so many things we love about our new place... the way the sun shines in the windows in the morning, seeing the sunset at night, the Highland Trail walking path, of course the beautiful view of the mountains, the park across the street, and that we can finally grow a few tomato plants! We are also close to the police station, fire station, the Highland Splash Pad, the Highland library, and a few minutes closer to Mark, Tiff, and the Grands! And, we'll shave off a few minutes when we visit Chris in Salt Lake!

We bought some new furniture that will be delivered on Thursday, so it will be nice to have somewhere to sit! This home is the perfect size for us, and we are so grateful for this new chapter. We really are so blessed, so many prayers have been answered.

Another ginormous thanks to Christopher and Mark for helping us move. More than once they have dropped everything to come help us.

There's no place like home...
