The day after Valentine's Day...

I promised Cash and Colby we would have a Valentine's Day party and so we did!

Welcome to the party from the Valentine cat or mouse?!?

Cash told me that the balloon Mrs. Eggli gave him at school came untied from the candy it was attached to, and floated away. He said in was heart shaped, and it made him sad he lost it. So I had a new one waiting for him.

Roses from my sweetheart!

Colby was so proud that he put his shoes on all by himself.
Who cares if their on the wrong feet!

Uncle Chris always has something fun to try. With some effort he cracked open a real coconut and we all took a sip. Cash didn't really like it!

Happy Valentine's Day to you too!

This little heart breaker was sound asleep during dinner.

Cash loved the Poke-the-Pumpkin game we played for Halloween and wanted to do it again. So we played Poke-the-Heart this time!

Colby's hair!!!!!

The laser gun lit up Colby's face!

Grey Max enjoying his first Valentine's Day with Uncle Chris.

Ya, they make my heart happy!

Finishing up our party by decorating some cookies, yummy!

 That sweet face!

All sugared up and ready for bed!

P.S. Mark was late for the party, he had an important phone call for work and it took longer than he thought it would. We still love him though.

I love, love, love my family!

ThrowBack Thursday ~ Grandpa Ames and Uncle Elmer

I am still looking through all of Mom's pictures. It has been fascinating and I want more than ever to piece together her family tree.

This is her Dad, Arlo Ames and his brother Elmer Ames. Of course Elmer would be her Uncle. I'm guessing this was taken in about 1905. I never knew my Great-Uncle Elmer but I do have a few memories of Grandpa Ames.

Grey's Blessing...

Sunday was Grey's blessing day. It was a wonderful day. We had lots of family there. Mark gave Grey a beautiful blessing. Grey cried during the blessing but it was kind of sweet. I know from experience he does not like to lay down! I could not help but feel how special this darling boy is to our Heavenly Father. I'm so proud of Mark and Tiffani, they are wonderful parents. They are teaching the boys to make good choices and to choose the right path. I know caring for three boys can be exhausting at times, but I also feel Mark and Tiff know that those moments are fleeting. I see them making the most of each day. Cash and Colby are the sweetest and most polite boys. They give such thoughtful prayers. Grey will have the best examples in those big brothers!

It was fun to gather at Mark and Tiff's new home after the blessing.

I'm not use to Lee's gray hair!

Pops, Bree and darling Navy. She is nine months old already and so cute!

Tiff and Holley having a chat.

I appreciate the love and support we always have from our family. It was so great to meet my nephew Brian's finance. Megan is a doll!

Love my family... Cash is so incredibly handsome!

Colby did not want his picture taken, but at least he's in one of them!

Cash, Colby and Grey have been blessed with the love of two sets of grandparents. Brad and Cindi are so devoted and we are all crazy for these little boys!

 We love you Grey Maxwell!

Words to live by ~ Now is the time...

If there is something about yourself that you do not like, now is the time to change it. If there is something in your past that has been disabling, spiritually or otherwise, now is the time to rise above it. ~ Boyd K. Packer (Ensign, July 1977)
