Christmas Train and Sleepover

Colby and Cash got to sleepover so Mommy and Daddy could celebrate their 6th wedding anniversary.

 Someone is getting tired.

We had a lot fun playing games, we sure love our grandsons.

First thing in the morning Cash is playing with the train.

Daddy came to pick up his boys, I think he missed them.

Turkey Day 2013

Thanksgiving was a little different this year but really wonderful. Mark, Tiff, Cash and Colby spent the day with Tiff's family so Christopher invited us to his condo for dinner.

Here's the schedule he came up with:

It was such a beautiful day, and we enjoyed our "brisk" walk on the Provo River Trail.

After the walk we started the food prep. Chris cooked a turkey breast and made gourmet turkey pot pies.

While they were baking, we enjoyed a feast of delicious appetizers and a refreshing drink called Mojito. Wow was it good! Chris made bacon wrapped shrimp and French onion soup.

 

We played games and ate, played more games and ate some more...

Time for the yummy pot pies and a movie!

The evening ended with pies that Chris and I got at Harmon's. As it turns out Harmon's is our new favorite market and the pies were delicious!

We have so much to be thankful for. Spending Thanksgiving with Chris will always be a treasured memory. Thank you Chris for all you did to make the day special and fun!

School Days...

I absolutely love to see children in their costumes, especially Cash and Colby. I just have never liked wearing costumes, I feel silly. I didn't want to be a party pooper at school, so I did dress up. Just call me Wynonna!

Carol is also a TA and a new friend. She is so fun and I enjoy working with her. She is kind, wise and keeps things running smoothly around the school.

And this little firework is my sister-in-law Holley, such an appropriate costume for her. She is a TA for Special Ed and she also teaches Learning Strategies classes. I have seen a new side of Holley and she's tireless in her efforts to help the students at Lincoln.

I am a TA for Mrs. Otto. She teaches 7th, 8th and 9th grade English. She is a wonderful teacher. She has earned the respect of the students and they love her. She is fair but can be fierce when it's necessary. I feel grateful to help her anyway I can. She is beautiful inside and out!
