Thanksgiving has my heart...

Thanksgiving has my heart. It's the one holiday that asks for nothing but gratitude, good food, and time with the people I love the most.

"Shots by Grahm" does it again! I love turning my phone over to him and seeing all the moments he captures. Mark's turkey was the best, so tender and flavorful. Tiff sides were also delicious, sweet potatoes and green bean casserole. Colby made cranberry sauce that was so yummy. It was a lovely day and I really am so thankful for my family.

I told everyone the whipped cream needs to look pretty on the pie!

So grateful...

ThrowBack Thursday ~ Sweet Grey...

 

Bees knees...

This past Friday was another Grandma Day with the two G's. We enjoyed some gourmet hot chocolate with chocolate spoons that were a big hit with Grey and Grahm.

I saw a craft on the interweb and I wanted to make with the Grey and Grahm. We went out after dark with flashlights and search for pinecones and other things we could use. It was lots of fun and the boys put there own touch on them. The finished product was definitely the bees knees! Their little bees are so cute. I smile everytime I look at them. 

I told Grey and Grahm to say cheese! They never complain that Gramdma takes a lot of pictures.

As far as I'm concerned sleepovers could happen every week. I cherish this time more than I can say.

I just have to add this cute picture of Grizz. Mark says he sits on anything that's ground level. Sweet doggie!

I didn't get nearly enough pictures but my birthday dinner was nothing short of wonderful. When I walked in the door Mark, Tiff, and Colby were whipping up some of my favorites. There was walnut and breaded shrimp, Benihana salad, rice, and lots of yummy sauces. It was all so delicious and I ate too much. But it was my birthday dinner after all!

Tiffani asked me what I wanted for dessert and I told her like pie. There were lots to choose from and I enjoyed every bite. 

Colby make a cinnamon roll cake, it could have won an award. 

It was so wonderful!

Grandpa gave Colby one of his guitars to practice on.

Tiffani gave me a gift bag of all my favorite things and more. Grandpa let me spruce up the bedroom. I have always liked blue and I think the room looks pretty good. Chris sent gifts too and some of the most beautiful orchids I've ever seen. I had a wonderful week and heard from lots of family and friends. 

Grey handed me this cute card with thoughtful messages written inside. I will keep trying to be as wonderful as my family thinks I am.
