Furry four-legged friend...

Yes, this is a post all about our granddog Grizzly! We have had this sweet dog for eight days while Mark, Tiff and the grands were on a cruise. He has charmed his way into our hearts. Christopher and I took him for a walk up Provo Canyon. He kept up with us and we made it to the drinking fountain where there is refreshing spring water. He enjoyed a drink too. It was what as Chris sometimes says, a 10 out of 10 experience. The trees were aglow and the perfect Fall temperature. Being with Chris and Grizz in this beautiful setting was good for my soul.

Grizzly did get a little tired on the way back and I carried him for a bit. When we got back to the car, he climb in the back, and fell asleep on the floor.

We all took turns taking Grizzly for a walk and playing with him. He loves to chase shadows and play with grasshoppers! Grizz is obedient and enjoys a treat once in awhile. Grahm told me awhile ago, you can't say "treat' unless your going to give him one! Sometimes if he sees his leash, he will bark to let you know he wants to go outside. He knows several tricks too. He's a very smart dog.

Grizzly also likes to go for rides in the car with me.

Grizz and Chris also became good friends. It was about time for bed and I couldn't find Grizzly. I went downstairs and he was curled up under Christopher's desk.

If we had a fenced in backyard, and could find a dog with a wonderful disposition like Grizzly, I would be tempted to get a dog!

I will miss when Grizzly's little tail comes wagging. Hurry back my four-legged furry friend!

Cake decorating with Grey and Grahm...

After Grey and Grahm's soccer games a few weeks ago, they came with me to help decorate a birthday cake for Colby. By the way Grahm took the pictures of Grey, our #2 soccer star.

We stopped at Meier's for a few things and I saw some suckers by the check stand. It brought back memories of getting them for Chris and Mark years ago. There is a scorpion inside the sucker. Grey and Grahm were so excited that I got some for them. Grahm was especially fascinated by them!

Colby wanted a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting so we got busy making his birthday cake. I'm not exaggerating when I say that Grey and Grahm decorated the cake. It was their idea to add candy corn and pumpkins. I gave them a few tips and they did the rest. Here are the picture to prove it!

Grey and Grahm did awesome job decorating Colby's cake! It turned out just perfect.

The next day we enjoyed being with Colby for his birthday dinner. We got to meet Brian and enjoyed talking with him and Cindi.

Colby trying out a new do for his birthday! He's so fun.

Colby was all smiles when he saw his birthday cake. I made sure he knew his brothers helped make it!

Time to sing Happy Birthday to our Colby!

These two are so cute together.

September was full of birthday dates and dinners. What a fun month.

Happy Birthday Colbs, as always I hope your wish comes true!

Colby saw a box with some pictures and he asked me if he could make a poster for his birthday. He made it look so good. A lot of very happy memories are represented in this photos.

Love you so very much Colby!

Festival Fun...

It was so much fun to take Colby, Grey, and Grahm to Lincoln's Fall Festival. I enjoyed showing them off to some of people I work with! We were buying tickets and I mentioned it was Colby's birthday. They gave Colby a handful of complimentary tickets. He liked that!

They won a few prizes fishing and at the pumpkin walk. Of course we had to get some cotton candy.

Colby, Grey, and Graham all chose turtles from the balloon booth. The balloon artist was amazing and he's originally from Wyoming. I had a nice visit with him.

The boys all took a turn at the dunking booth. Colby was successful in dunking the director of our school, Mr. Hunt. It was awesome! I tried to get a picture of Colby throwing the ball but I wasn't fast enough.

Bounce houses for the win!

Grey and Grahm got to meet our mascot, Eddie the Eagle!

We sat on the grass in the shade, and enjoyed hotdogs.

What a wonderful afternoon with three of my favorite boys!
