Christmas Poem 2014

Another year has gone by,
And oh how time does fly.
We end the year with so much to be thankful for,
Family, friends, good health and more.
Even with the ups and downs, there’s always a reason to smile,
Because life is always so worthwhile.
Tim still practices law each day
Retirement doesn’t offer enough pay!
Our grandchildren are one of his greatest joys,
How he loves those three little boys.
Tim used his woodworking skills to make a toddler chair,
His craftsmanship is beyond compare.
Eileen spent several precious weeks with her Mother,
She will cherish that time like no other.
She had to say “Bye, bye for now,” knowing it was time to part,
The thought that she is no longer here tugs at her heart.
Eileen works a few hours each day,
But she still has some time to get out and play.
Spending time with the Grand’s is the best part of the week,
Making memories with them is what she seeks.
Christopher uses his business skills very well,
He had another good year, and we think that is swell!
He’s looking to buy a home of his own,
When he finds the right one, he’ll just need a loan.
Cash and Colby love it when Uncle Chris stops by,
They will always give his specialty drinks a try!
Mark’s days are full with work and being a Dad,
He is a devoted husband and father and that make us glad.
Building a new home was a dream they wished for,
They moved in this November and they couldn’t ask for more.
Tiffani continues to amaze us with all that she does,
Nothing is more important than her three darling loves.
She spent hours planning their new home and was always on the run,
And during that time she was also expecting another son.
Cash started preschool this Fall, we can’t believe it was his turn.
He’s smart, is a good listener and loves to learn.
He helps Mommy and is a good big brother to Colby and Grey,
He’s sensitive, loving and shares when he plays
Colby is a bundle of pure delight,
And has a million dollar smile that is quite a sight.
He wants to do everything he sees his brother do,
And is never afraid to try something new.
Grey joined our family in October of this year,
He is perfect and we’re happy he’s here.
We love his chubby cheeks and sweet grin,
And we all want a turn to kiss and hold him.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas.
May God bless you and those whom
you love during the coming New Year.

With love, Tim and Eileen

The first gift of Christmas was a simple gift given by a father to all his children, to us.
He gave us his son, the Christ. He is the gift.
